Post 9: my favorite place

Hi all!

This time I will talk about my favorite place where I relax, and it is in my grandparents’ house in Freire, in “Region de la Araucania”.

I really like this place because I'm with my cousins, with my aunts and uncles, and the vast majority of my family live there.

The first time I was there I was 2 years old, and although I do not remember how my stay was like, I remember that I had a great time and every year, in summer vacation, I'm back there.

I ended up liking this place because there are rivers, lakes, craft fairs, countryside, many animals and mountains where I can go to explore or play with my nephews and cousins.

In this place I can go for a walk without the annoying noises of the cars, the buses, and the stress of the people in the mornings and finally, there is a lot of tranquility.

At night, when it's cold, my mom and my aunt cook sopaipillas, empanadas, tortillas, and we stay up late talking, laughing and sharing a tea or mate, and sometimes on the weekends we enjoy one or two drinks.

The truth if I think about it, I miss being there a lot and in several occasions I would like to escape from Santiago and the University and go to my lands.
